PR in a recession

We’re mired in what seems to be a never-ending recession.  One minute you hear things have stabilized.  The next you hear more bad news about employment or consumer confidence.

The response, unfortunately, by many companies has been to curl up in the corner and wait for the scary times to pass.  This is precisely the wrong move.  Now is the time to be aggressive, be strong, take control.

One of the best ways to stay aggressive – without draining your marketing budget – is through PR.  Sasha Muradali over at Little Pink Book discusses the advantages of PR:
