My Bio
Hello. My name is Chris Thiede. I am the founder/owner of Build Communications, LLC, and the author of this blog. I hope you enjoy it and are able to take at least a few tidbits of useful information from it.
My career in building & remodeling products started in 1995 at Kohler Company, where I cut my teeth in the plumbing products manufacturer’s public relations department. Since then, I worked at an agency or two, representing various brands in the category – cabinets, countertops, windows, energy-efficient homes programs.
Then in 2007, I struck out on my own and started Build. And I’ve been having fun ever since. I love going to trade shows, meeting new people, seeing new products. I love learning about the brave new world of marketing, and thinking of ways to harness it.
But you probably knew all that. Everyone in this business loves what they do.
You probably didn’t know that I am married and have a son. That I enjoy fly fishing and sailing. That I am a Green Bay Packers season-ticket holder.
But enough about me. I want to talk about you.
